Thank you for visiting the First Baptist Church of Mandan's website.  I'm blessed to be at FBC.  What a great place to minister, worship, live and raise a family.  God is so good.  By God's grace I was raised in a Christian home and saved during Vacation Bible School (VBS) at the age of eight.

I was born and raised in Ohio, went to college for a few years and then joined the Army for the GI Bill.  I ended up retiring after 25 years of service, met my beloved wife Kristie of 28 years (a Bottineau, North Dakota girl) and am blessed with eight wonderful children.

God called me into the ministry in 1992, during a revival service in Hawaii, but I said, no, a mistake, but God called me a second time while living in England.  I retired from the Army in 1999, went to Midwestern Theological Semiary and received my Master's Degree in Divinity in 2002.  During seminary, I pastored my firist church in the Amsterdam, Missouri, 70 miles south of Kansas City (Thank you, what a great church).  In January 2003, God called me to FBC of Mandan.  I'm excited about our furture.  Our vision is to be a loving, growing church anchored in Christ.  Please pray about visiting FBC and joining us in serving the Lord, Immanuel, Pastor Tim

Let me introduce myselft.  I am the First Baptist Church (FBC) of Mandan's Fellowship Leader.  I have been coming to FBC Mandan for 20 years becoming a member some time ago after moving to Bismarck with my four children.  Finding FBC Mandan a very warm and welcoming church (a great group of caring people) my children and I felt we had found a place to belong.  My children were all teenagers and the youth program was a place to keep them busy with many group activities.  It didn't take long to become our church family.  I asked Jesus into my life in way back in 7th grade.  I remember it being the happiest day of my life.  Since then Jesus has helped me through the hard times.  Never being very far away.  Giving me the courage to face tomorrow.  So as the Fellowship Leader of FBC Mandan I hope to be able to give back to Jesus only a part of what He has done for me by sharing and giving to others.  As the Fellowship Leader it gives me the oppurtunity to organize time for sharing and caring for people that come to the doors of FBC Mandan.  Be it an anniversary or a retirement FBC Mandan's fellowship brings people together and Jesus's love becomes more noticable in each other.  Reviewing and planning for the future of FBC Mandan as the church continues to grow and serve the needs of anyone who wishes to join the church body as FBC Mandan displays the life of Jesus.  Helping each of us discover how Jesus lives with in each of us.

My goal as Fellowship Leader is to provide something for everyone to appreciate what Jesus has for us on our daily needs.  If it means welcoming a new born baby or listening to a senior citizen's golden oldies stories.

One thing that I have found at FBC Mandan is there is always something for everyone.  No one is turned away.  As Jesus said "Come Follow Me", as we do at FBC Mandan.
